Why a generalist agency does not suffice

Generalist interpreting agencies dispatch whoever is free. For sensitive matters this is unsuitable: terminology is wrong, confidentiality is uncertain, and the cultural register collapses to a literal word-by-word translation that misreads the room. A single trusted interpreter, working with you over multiple meetings if needed, accumulates context: knows the names of the principals, knows the file, knows what has already been said in previous meetings, knows where the lines are. The result is faster meetings, fewer misunderstandings, and the kind of discretion that confidential dealings require.

How I work

Consecutive interpreting for meetings of two to twelve people; whispered (chuchotage) interpreting for one or two listeners in a larger Italian-only meeting; simultaneous interpreting available for conferences with technical setup. Preparation involves a one-hour briefing call before the assignment, a vocabulary list shared in advance for your industry, and signing of a non-disclosure agreement if you require one. Rates are by the half-day or full day; travel within Italy is at cost; same-day urgent assignments handled when possible.

Booking notes

Earliest possible notice is ideal: a week is comfortable, two weeks better, and for major negotiations a month in advance is normal. Confidentiality is absolute: I do not name clients, do not mention assignments in social or professional contexts, and do not retain documents after the file closes. Rates are quoted in writing per assignment after a brief intake call. For multi-day assignments outside Rome, accommodation and travel are arranged through us.

NDA? Yes, on your template or mine. Notary acts? Yes, fully accredited; I have signed dozens of property and corporate acts in Italian notarial chambers. Languages other than Italian–Russian?
